We are a London based architect’s studio specialising in bespoke residential projects, such as new-build individual dwellings, barn conversions and refurbishments, often within sensitive contexts.
Established as an RIBA Chartered Architectural practice in 2005, David’s personable and active approach, combined with a depth of technical experience informs a pragmatic design process.
Our work has received both national and international coverage in the mainstream and design press (see Press). We are the proud recipients of several accolades, including in 2017 a Sunday Times British Homes Award.
David Nossiter Architects provide appropriate contemporary design solutions to the individual requirements of each client and within the unique conditions of each site.
We do not approach any project with preconceived ideas but listen to the needs of a client, responding to the brief, the topography and orientation of the site and budgetary considerations. This results in bespoke, but cost-effective, modern architectural solutions that embody the individual choices of a client and our design philosophy.
The ambition is for durable, honest, but spatially complex responses to meet the individual needs of each client, their site and accompanying budgetary considerations. This has resulted in multiple client commissions and a growing profile.
We aim to provide value to our clients and pride ourselves on our attention to detail, regardless of the size of a project.
Each project is resourced according to its individual needs and as a chartered practice, David Nossiter Architects maintains RIBA quality management procedures. We take an active approach throughout the entire process, from developing the early sketch to on-site supervision.
