Bespoke residential projects in urban and rural locations across the country, are designed from David’s London studio. Projects range from new-build individual dwellings, small scale housing developments to conversions and refurbishments, often within sensitive contexts.
Established as an RIBA Chartered Architectural practice in 2005, David’s personable nature, combined with a depth of technical experience informs a pragmatic design process.
Individual design solutions evolve by listening to the needs of our client, responding to the topography of the landscape and the orientation of the site.
The aim is to provide value to our clients resulting in modern, minimal yet enjoyable spaces. The ambition is for durable, honest, but spatially complex contemporary architecture. Attention to detail is paramount, regardless of the size of a project.
This has resulted in multiple client commissions and both national and international coverage in the mainstream and design press (see Press). The studio is the proud recipient of several accolades, including a Sunday Times British Homes Award.
Each project is lead by David with additional assistance according to its individual needs. As a chartered practice, work is organised along RIBA quality management procedures. An active approach is taken throughout the entire process, from developing the early sketch to on-site supervision.
