Bespoke residential projects in urban and rural locations across the country, are designed by David from his London studio.
From inception to completion, David takes an active approach. He is the single point of contact for clients throughout the architectural process, from the early ideas to on-site supervision.
David’s personable nature, combined with over 30 years experience and a depth of technical knowledge informs a pragmatic design process. Additional resourcing may be allocated to a project according to requirements under David’s direct supervision.
Projects range from new-build individual dwellings, small scale housing developments to conversions and refurbishments, often within sensitive contexts.
Potential sites often require careful assessment ahead of development or renovation proposals and David offers a site appraisal service .
Established as an RIBA Chartered Architectural practice in 2005, projects are organised along RIBA quality management procedures.
Pocessing an art college grounding, David is adept at hand sketching and will use this skill to explain and develop design ideas with clients.
Individual design solutions evolve by listening carefully to the needs of a client, responding to the topography of the landscape and the orientation of the site.
The aim is to provide value to clients resulting in modern, minimal yet enjoyable spaces.
The ambition is for durable, honest, but spatially complex contemporary architecture. Attention to detail is paramount, regardless of the size of a project.
This has resulted in multiple client commissions leading to national and international coverage in the mainstream and design press (see Press).
The studio is the proud recipient of several accolades, including a Sunday Times British Homes Award.
