The barn conversion blends modern sensibilities with the raw historic charm of the barn in the landscape.
The barn, originally the centre piece of the Home Farm belonging to the local manor was built as part of the model farm movement. The movement encouraged modern farming methods and the barn was built with the intention of undertaking multiple farming activities under a single roof, protected from the elements. This is evident in both the build quality, the demarcation of the spaces within the building and the scale of the roof.
The barn is part of a of Listed Grade II properties within the curtilage of the adjacent farm house.
